Business support subsidy programme announced

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a new call for its subsidy programme “Real Estate – Coal Regions”, which supports businesses in the Moravian-Silesian, Ústí and Karlovy Vary Regions.

The purpose of the programme is to help SMEs modernize old, technically obsolete buildings for a range of eligible economic uses or to replace them with new buildings, thus boosting the labour market in the three regions and helping to improve working conditions for employees as well as supporting environmental improvements.

The maximum available subsidy is 70 million CZK per project, and the recipients must contribute at least 25% of the total project cost. A total sum of 1.4 billion CZK has been allocated to the programme. The deadline for applications is 16 March 2020.
