P3 Park Ostrava

The industrial developer P3 has signed an agreement with Vítkovice, a.s. and VTK NCA a.s. to buy 44 hectares of land in the Vítkovice area in Ostrava. Formerly known as Aglomerace, the area will be used by P3 to build an industrial and commercial district that will include production and storage warehouses, stores, showrooms, offices, and various other facilities.

The land is located in the greater centre of Ostrava. In the south and west, the area is delimited by Místecká and Rudná Streets that provide access to the locality. The east side borders on the river Ostravice, and the north section is adjacent to Lower Vítkovice with the nearby Karolína Shopping Centre and the Silesian Ostrava Castle.

P3's industrial and commercial centre planned to be built in Ostrava will offer storage facilities, aiming to cater particularly to the fast-growing logistics and e-commerce segments. In addition, there will be retail showrooms, light manufacturing facilities, and office space. Built-up area will account for 160,000 m2 of the 44-hectare property, making the complex one of the largest industrial and logistics parks in the region. The size of units for lease will range from 1,500 m2 to 35,000 m2. Their configuration will be flexible. A bonus will be an above-average number of parking spaces. The park will be designed to reuse process water. Because of its use in the past, the property has a rail connection, which will allow the use of combined logistics.

Panattoni Park Ostrava Airport

The location offers a number of advantages: it is a short distance from central Ostrava (just 25 minutes), next to an international airport, with direct connections to city and regional public transport, offering a qualified workforce in the surrounding area, and able to benefit from the Ostrava region’s strong tradition of industry, science and technology.

Panattoni will build a new hall at the site, containing offices, staff facilities and technical facilities. Covering 115 510 square metres, the hall will be divided into three parts. Trees and bushes will be planted as “green screens” around the perimeter of the site. The new zone will provide employment for skilled people from all over the Ostrava region; Panattoni has committed to create at least 207 jobs with high added value, and 1932 new jobs in total.

 The site is located adjacent to the Biocel Paskov cellulose plant and the Mayr-Melnhof sawmill. The Leoš Janáček International Airport is just 20 minutes away. The site is a complete entity with a functioning network of asphalt roads; it was formerly the location of 1-ha greenhouses, but all remnants of these former structures have been removed, so the site is now ready for investors. Pivovar a bramborárna
A former boiler hall complex divided into two parts. The first part has 2 floors and was used to store fuel. The second part (with a chimney) has 3 floors. Potato store – a quarter of the building is used as an office building (3 floors). The remaining part of the building (2 floors) was used to store beer and later potatoes. The upper level was used as a granary. Most of the building has been damaged by damp. The buildings are located at a former brewery complex. Potential uses: in view of the flexible nature of the buildings, potential uses are almost unrestricted. Either it could be restored to its original function, or it could be used for a residential development or for civic amenities – e.g. cultural or sporting facilities – or as offices.

Plicní sanatorium
A former spa complex that treated respiratory illnesses plus a house. A 4-floor brick building (no. 1) with a cellar has a gable roof and is fully connected to technical infrastructure. A 4-floor brick building (no. 2) also has a cellar and a gable roof; this building was used as a sanatorium (including a kitchen). The house (no. 5) has 2 floors and a gable roof, with cellar space under part of the ground plan; it is also fully connected to technical infrastructure. The complex is in reasonable condition; the roofs, roof structures and walls are sound. Some windows are broken/missing, and the plaster is flaking off in some places. The site is suitable for use as a health care or recreational facility.
