Moravian-Silesian Region supports internships of students in companies

3. 3. 2022

This year, the Moravian-Silesian Region has again decided to support internships of pupils and students in companies. So far, more than 60 regional companies have received support for interns and the interest in joining this programme is growing every year. The purpose of this subsidy programme is to support better employment of pupils and students on the labour market and is focused on selected fields of study for which there is a long-term demand and whose graduates are missing on the labour market.

The deadline for submitting applications is from 4 April 2022 to 15 April 2022.

Companies can draw up to CZK 200,000 in the case of a trainee or partially cover the wage costs of a professional worker/mentor. In addition, the Moravian-Silesian Region supports the study of selected crafts in the form of scholarships. To this end, the Region has launched a campaign called Craft has Respect, which aims to raise the prestige of apprenticeships and crafts. Detailed information can be found on the campaign website - see here (only in Czech).

The annual Invest More conference will also focus on education and cooperation between schools and the private sector. Guests will include representatives of top regional companies as well as representatives of schools and recruitment agencies. We will publish the list of speakers gradually, so you don't miss anything, follow our website or Facebook.
