Ministry of Industry and Trade announced a program Smart Parks for the Future5. 8. 2020
Through their launched program Smart Parks for the Future, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will support the construction of small business parks, the expansion of existing industrial zones and the regeneration of brownfields. As a part of the program, it will also contribute to fulfil the objectives of the Innovation Strategy as well as the related project The Country for the Future. The program will run until 2026, municipalities and regions can apply for support now.
The call is focused on the development of existing industrial zones in terms of improving infrastructure (measures for Industry 4.0., environmental sustainability in the service industry of transportation), regeneration of brownfield sites and construction of business parks on a smaller area (in economically and socially endangered areas according to Regional Development Strategy of the Czech Republic 2021+). Eligible applicants are municipalities and regions in the Czech Republic. Depending on the size of the entity applying, the maximum amount of the subsidy is up to 30-70% of eligible costs.
