MSIC announced new subsidy programmes to support entrepreneurship

5. 1. 2022

The Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre has announced new calls for three regional programmes aimed at supporting start-ups as well as established small and medium-sized enterprises in the Moravian-Silesian Region (MSK). The programmes are InnoBooster, Voucher for Start-ups and TechArt Voucher.

Each of the programmes is aimed at a different target group and their aim is to support the business environment in the region.

The InnoBooster Voucher is aimed at creating new jobs. The Moravian-Silesian Region wants to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises that will lead to the creation of new products/services or the expansion of market share through the implementation of business innovation. This programme is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises based in MSK and the subsidy is intended to cover the salary for the newly created job. The total support can reach up to CZK 610 000 for one year.

The voucher for start-up companies targets start-up entrepreneurs no older than 2 years. This voucher is suitable for more common business sectors such as catering, services, crafts, etc., but is not limited by sector. The amount of financial assistance ranges from CZK 50 000 - 120 000.

The TechArt Voucher is intended for small and medium-sized companies with headquarters or operations in the Moravian-Silesian region that want to increase their market share or enter new markets by re-designing an existing product. Also, if they wish to diversify their risk and reduce their dependence on supply and customer chains by creating a completely new product. The maximum amount of support can reach up to CZK 450 000.

Applications for support can be submitted until 23 March 2022. For more information on individual programmes, please visit the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre website.
